Salary Scale: £76.92 to £103.04 per day

Mental Health Support Worker Role:
* Work closely with students on a one-on-one basis, providing tailored support to meet their unique mental health needs.
* Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement strategies that promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Be a calming presence during challenging situations, offering immediate support and helping students navigate difficult emotions.
* Maintain open communication with parents, providing updates on students' progress and collaborating on strategies for continued support at home.
* Working in classrooms supporting Teachers and fellow Teaching Assistants.
Requirements for Mental Health Support Worker role:
* Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counselling, or a related field
* Experience working with children in a mental health or educational setting
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Compassion and empathy for the well-being of children
* Experience working with students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs

* Have the right to work in the UK.
* Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
* Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
