About the Role
Are you an experienced minute taker with a proven track record supporting complex and sensitive meetings? Do you have exceptional IT skills and meticulous attention to detail?
If so, we have a great opportunity for you! We are now looking for a full-time minute taker to support Child Protection Conferences.
Our Children’s Safeguarding Business Support team provides a range of specialist services to children and young people, working collaboratively with key local stakeholders including parents/carers, schools, health services, police, and voluntary organisations.
Your role
As a Child Protection Business Support Officer, your main focus will be to produce accurate, concise, and timely records during Child Protection Conferences and other highly confidential meetings.
Your role will directly support the service in ensuring compliance with statutory timescales, and your exceptional organisational skills will guarantee the timely distribution of meeting records. In addition, you will undertake various administrative tasks to support the wider department, using your knowledge of general office routines and procedures.
To be considered for shortlisting, we would love to hear the following in your responses to our application questions:
1. Administrative and organisational skills including experience in minute taking directly onto a laptop.
2. Experience with Microsoft Office Packages (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
3. Ability to prioritise and plan your own workload.
You will need strong written and verbal communication skills and a methodical approach to information gathering, recording and reporting.
