Job Opportunity: Construction Manager - MEP.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the Project Manager in supervising on-site personnel on a busy construction site.
2. Lead by example, enforcing safety and high-quality standards.
3. Take responsibility for on-site health and safety.
4. Ensure all employees are trained and qualified for their roles.
5. Manage on-site labor resources for efficient operations.
6. Maintain discipline on-site, addressing incidents as necessary.
7. Manage and mentor apprentices in line with training requirements.
8. Use the purchasing system to acquire cost-effective materials.
9. Minimize costs and assist with system handovers to the client.
Required Experience & Skills:
1. Mechanical/Electrical trade qualification.
2. Minimum 4 years’ management-level experience in a similar role.
3. Ability to manage subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
4. Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems.
5. Proactive in people management, EHS, quality, and project planning.
