NVQ in Health and Social Care and/or experience of working in a care environment is essential.
We have roles available across Warrington and Halton Adult/Older Adult inpatient services with various shift patterns on a 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year basis.
You will support the clinical team in delivering a high standard of care by assisting with and carrying out a range of duties as directed by registered staff. This will be in line with individual care and treatment plans for patients and service users.
You will demonstrate an attitude that respects and values patients, service users, and their carers, ensuring they are at the centre of care and treatment planning.

Mental Health Care
These divisions provide mental health, brain injury, addiction, and child and adolescent mental health services across Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens, and Warrington. We are recruiting nursing and health care assistants for inpatient wards in areas such as complex care, older people's services, adult acute mental health, and rehabilitation wards.
We are particularly seeking candidates with experience working with older adults/dementia for vacancies on our Hollins Park site.
Secure Division
This division offers specialized mental health and learning disability services in low, medium, and high secure settings for individuals with mental illness and personality disorders. Our nursing assistants should demonstrate compassion and empathy to improve care quality within a secure/forensic environment. This division provides experience in forensic settings.
We are recruiting for our new state-of-the-art low secure facility, Aspen Wood, opening in March 2024. It will feature two wards, Hodder Ward (female service users) and Mitton Ward (male service users), along with a gym, café, therapeutic spaces, public art, gardens, and open areas. Aspen Wood is designed to provide a safe, therapeutic environment to support complex patients and facilitate their progress and reduced length of stay.
Additionally, we are recruiting for roles at our Low Secure Unit at Hollins Park, Warrington—an ideal location for local residents.
A recruitment and retention bonus of up to £600 is offered in the Secure division.
