Job Description
The Workshop Business Developer (WBD) is responsible for the management and development of Bosch Car Service (BCS) Concept workshops as well as promoting Bosch automotive parts to the Independent garages, creating demand and pull through of our products, equipment and services. You will be required to spend 80% of your time in your designated area engaging in customer facing activities. They will be responsible for achieving the agreed targets. The job holder is expected to be able to promote and sell the Bosch portfolio of products and programs to new and existing customers.
1. The job holder will be expected to contribute significantly to the overall delivery of the UK Aftermarket businesses in total. In addition, the WBD is expected to work with colleagues throughout the business to achieve the best possible result for Bosch as a whole.
2. Identify 'open areas', develop and acquire target customers in geographic area of responsibility.
3. Manage the appointment process for new Concept Workshops
4. Manage the development of concept customers via the annual development plan process
5. Drive the conversion to the Bosch portfolio of products and services within Bosch Concept Customers via initiatives including Preferred Supplier Concept
6. Enforce compliance in the areas of parts purchases, workshop test equipment, training, brand utilisation and programme initiatives within Bosch
Concept Workshops
7. Generate participation from concept members in centrally driven initiatives (Garage & Consumer focused)
8. Provide information / solutions as appropriate to address enquires and queries within the accepted timescales
9. Work with and support the regional team of developers and Account Managers to develop the area in line with the overall Bosch strategy
10. Contribute to the writing and maintenance of individual customer account plans with the Account Managers
11. Generate sales and interest relating to Bosch Automotive parts with the end users
12. Collate and feedback market intelligence
13. Develop and deliver presentations professionally at all levels, both internally and externally
14. Liaise with and support all Automotive Aftermarket departments
15. Liaise with 3rd party Programme suppliers as required
16. Reporting of information within the Division as required
Qualifications
17. Display a ‘can do’ attitude, constantly breaking new ground in terms of sales and relationships
18. Have a strong knowledge of motor vehicle technology, service and repair
19. Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the market place, competition, and Bosch
20. Achieve and exceed targets
21. Take ownership of customer queries
22. Engage in the process of improving our business processes by contributing ideas and suggestions
23. Communicate proactively and effectively at all levels, both externally and internally
24. Think partnerships. Work collaboratively with all members of the AA business
25. Display, at all times, a customer oriented, service provider attitude and be a positive ambassador for the company
