The Role As a Key Account Manager (Protection) covering the Southeast area, you will manage and develop relationships across all protection disciplines. You aim to meet and exceed Annual Premium Income targets, aligning with the client's objectives and DQM standards. You will build and maintain strong relationships with network representatives, intermediaries, and other business providers, serving as the brand representative for regional activities in the Southeast. Key Responsibilities Achieve sales targets by developing accounts and exploring cross-selling opportunities. Collaborate with the Telephone Account Management team and Sales Managers for ideas and growth. Establish the brand as the preferred insurance provider through solid relationships. Analyze area performance to identify trends and recommend improvements. Implement regional sales plans and maximize market presence with telephone-based colleagues. Manage territory effectively to minimize travel and maximize relationship-building. Deliver engaging training and workshops to business partners. Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and handle objections effectively. Submit detailed activity and results reports. Experience & Qualifications Experience working with intermediaries, IFAs, and wealth managers, with a deep knowledge of protection products. Proven record of developing new and existing businesses, supported by a strong relationship and territory management background. Ideally, you would hold a relevant industry qualification, such as the CII. Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and Power BI. Full UK driving license and the right to work in the UK.
