Position: Supply Chain Manager - 12 month contract
Location: London, Hybrid 3 days/week in the office

This is a great opportunity for a Supply Chain Manager to join an established food business on a 12 month contract. You’ll be responsible for demand planning, purchasing and replenishment for the entire fresh food category. You’ll lead an established team to achieve exceptional product availability to meet customer demand.
Responsibilities:
1. Own and manage KPIs at the category level, providing actionable insights on performance gaps and opportunities for improvement.
2. Collaborate with key stakeholders across the supply chain to refine processes that drive waste reduction, enhance availability, and maximise sales.
3. Act as the primary escalation point for Supply Coordinators on product availability across all selling sites.
4. Lead and support the Supply Chain team within the category, overseeing daily operations and providing strategic guidance.
5. Develop and execute demand and fulfilment plans aligned with sales performance and business trends.
6. Proactively identify risks in demand forecasting and supplier inbound processes, implementing solutions to ensure consistent stock availability across food categories.
7. Play a key role in Planning meetings and gate launches to ensure the successful execution of promotional campaigns, seasonal events, and new product launches.
8. Partner with distribution teams to optimise stock management, replenishment, and ageing stock, streamlining operations and standardising best practices.
9. Continuously refine systems and reporting processes to drive efficiencies in daily operations and long-term strategic planning.
10. Evaluate current workflows to improve time efficiency, minimise administrative burden, and enable fast issue resolution.
11. Own the Supplier Performance process within the category, ensuring suppliers have up to date scorecards, development plans, and risk management strategies.
12. Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders in the food supply chain, defining clear ways of working.
13. Manage inventory and margins effectively through robust forecasting and best-practice stock management processes.
