Base pay range
Salary: Up to £32,000 (this may be slightly negotiable for the right candidate)

About The Company:
The company is an award-winning Microsoft Gold Partner with over 30 years of excellence. Based in Poole, Dorset, this company is celebrated for delivering bespoke IT solutions, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and fostering a supportive, team-oriented culture.
Your Role in the Team:
As a 2nd Line Support Engineer, you’ll be an invaluable member of the IT support team responsible for:
* Managing end-to-end deployment for laptops, desktops, and tablets.
* Handling and resolving IT support queries and service requests.
* Participating in exciting IT projects and on-site support as needed.
* Tracking hardware/software installations and update configuration management records.
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
* Proven hands-on 2nd Line Support experience in a service desk role.
* Expertise in Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Azure AD.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Server 2012+, DHCP/DNS, Group Policies, and networking fundamentals.
* A background in an IT MSP or customer-focused support environment (preferred).
* A full UK licence or working towards one (required for occasional travel).
* Familiarity with Firewalls, VMware/Hyper-V, Backups, or N-Able (highly desirable).
Location & Flexibility:
There is the option to work remotely from home 2 days per week. You will need to live within an appropriate commutable distance from the office in Poole, Dorset, for the remaining 3 days per week. You may also occasionally travel to client sites within the Dorset area.
Working Hours:
8 hours per day within the core hours of 7:30am – 5:30pm. Shifts and patterns to suit your lifestyle and the company’s needs can be discussed during the application process.
