Qualifications and Skills
* Experience with children in a work or home situation (Preferred)
* Knowledge of OFSTED standards (Preferred)
* Knowledge of the EYFS (Preferred)
* Knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding (Preferred)
* Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities / SENCO etc.
* Good time management skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Friendly and approachable
* Willingness to learn and progress

Key Responsibilities
* Act as a key person
* Carry out observations, assessments, and planning for key children and support the staff team with their key children
* Promote a high standard of quality within the nursery
* Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development, including the promotion of positive behaviour strategies
* Build positive relationships with children, their families, and colleagues
* Work as part of a team
