About the Company
We're looking for an ambitious hands-on Contracts Manager to join a Main Construction Contractor, based near Slough Buckinghamshire. They're delivering a wide range of multi-disciplinary refurbishment & new build projects across a range of sectors including F1, Light Industrial, Commercial & Public sectors.
About the Role
The Contracts Manager will be managing multi-disciplined Construction & Refurbishment projects with values range from £500k to £6 million.
The projects will often incorporate Construction, Structural, Interiors and M&E Services Packages. Projects are typically located in Berkshire, Bucks, Oxfordshire, Hampshire, Surrey, Wiltshire & Greater London
Reporting to the Operations Director you will be responsible for managing subcontractors & working closely with each client whilst managing project delivery & project budgets.
Required Experience
The successful candidate MUST BE ABLE to demonstrate considerable experience of project managing Multi Disciplined Construction Projects to time & budget from within the UK Commercial Office or Light Industrial (Warehousing, Light Manufacturing) Leisure (Hotels, Leisure Centres, Cinemas), or Public sectors (Schools, Hospitals, Universities).
The candidate must also have excellent client management skills and experience of managing multi-disciplined Subcontractors.
The ideal candidate will have worked for a Principle or Main Contractor as a Project Manager or Contracts Manager and be able to demonstrate a track record of delivering multiple Construction /Refurb Projects at anyone time with values ranging from £1 million to £10 million.
Pay range and compensation package - The role attracts a basic salary of £75k-£90k (DOE) plus company car/car allowance, pension, medical, company bonus & 25 days holiday (+ BH) and excellent long term career prospects.
