Based in Redditch, Worcestershire, Vets4pets Trescott road is a successful and growing first opinion small animal practice.

Based in a large purpose built premises, we are well equipped with an excellent range of diagnostic facilities. The practice includes five consult rooms, two operating theatres, a diagnostic suite (with digital X-ray and ultrasound), a dental suite (with dental X-ray), comprehensive Idexx In-house laboratory equipment, tonopen, plus all the other usual tools! Separate dog ward, cat ward, small furry ward, isolation ward (this in on separate floor to other wards).
You would be joining a team of 5 full time veterinary surgeons, 4 full time registered veterinary nurses, 2 full time animal nursing assistants, two full time student nurses and 1 receptionist.
Reception work a 40 hour week, with one full week day off. Weekend rota is 1:3. After working a weekend, the following week, you receive a long weekend off.

What your typical day will look like: Your focus is to provide an exceptional service to our clients and the best care possible to their pets - providing a link between clients and the clinical team. Your ability to build strong relationships with our clients, their pets and the practice team will be critical to your success.
Your great client service during a client’s visit will make sure that their absolute satisfaction is given, and that the client leaves knowing that they have received exceptional service and look forward to their next visit.
You will greet each client and offer support, guidance and expertise, managing payments and future bookings confidently. Coordinating the smooth running of the day-to-day routines of the practice will be done using our online booking system, so computer literacy is a must.
