Procurement Risk Coordinator Job Description: We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Procurement Risk Coordinator to join our head office team based in Leicester. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating supplier on boarding requests in accordance with company policy and continuously monitoring third party risk using our One Trust platform. Escalating risks where identified to senior stakeholders associated with procurement or third-party supplier activities. This full-time role involves close collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and key stakeholders to ensure supply chain risks are identified and mitigated, thus ensuring the security, compliance, continuity, and efficiency of our procurement processes. Key Responsibilities: • Using pre-built tools to assess third party procurement risk in line with company policy, to identify and monitor risks related to procurement activities, including supplier performance, financial stability, regulatory compliance, adverse media and security safeguards. • Use of One Trust to conduct on boarding and regular third-party risk assessments of new and existing suppliers, to evaluate potential exposure to risks that could affect procurement or business operations. • Support and coordinate supplier audits to ensure adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements. Escalate any non-compliance issues promptly to senior management. • Work closely with, legal, finance, IT and compliance teams to ensure procurement risks are identified and proactively managed across Sytner Group. • Ensure all supplier documentation, signed contracts, communications and risk assessments are held securely against each vendor record. All data fields, including key contacts are accurate and maintained for each supplier record. • Supporting the team with ad hoc tasks where necessary. Required Skills: • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills. • Knowledge of procurement processes, risk management principles, and relevant industry regulations. • Attention to detail, high level of accuracy. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external suppliers. • Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks. • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with risk management/One Trust software is a plus. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, coordinating multiple suppliers and deadlines effectively. • Educated to A Level equivalent or above. Experience: • Previous experience in procurement, supply chain, risk management, legal, contract handling or related fields is advantageous. • Experience in identifying and managing procurement-related risks is highly desirable.
