Role Description
The opportunity has arisen for a full-time Warehouse Operative to work in Avoca Central Stores, Rathnew, Co. Wicklow. This is a full-time permanent position with an immediate start, working 40 hours per week, on a 5 over 7 basis.
Responsibilities
1. Stock control through use of the EPOS system.
2. Picking orders through use of our replenishment system.
3. Packing and processing of orders.
4. Working within a team to ensure dispatch is running efficiently.
5. Processing orders from an end-to-end process.
6. Goods inwards and Outwards.
7. Loading and unloading of vans.
8. Ad-hoc duties as determined by the Manager.
Requirements
1. Experience working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
2. Experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment is a distinct advantage.
3. Communicate effectively with team members.
4. Experience working with wireless handheld devices in a warehouse environment.
5. Good attention to detail, accuracy and adhering to Avoca's high standard of service.
6. Experience in cycle counting and full stock takes.
7. Goods inwards & outwards experience.
8. Meridian EPOS knowledge preferable.
