Applications Engineer - PCB Manufacturing

As an Applications Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the client-facing sales process, advising on the manufacturability of designs and suggesting improvements to enhance both efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Developing new opportunities and providing exceptional support to the current customer base.
2. Collaborating with design authorities to ensure best practices for PCB fabrication are met and the information supplied is suitable for manufacturing processes.
3. Generating detailed technical reports.
4. Supporting internal technology reviews, contributing insights on customer technology roadmaps and industry trends.
5. Working closely with Sales, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Process Engineering teams.
6. Establishing and implementing strategies to improve and raise awareness of customer issues across all relevant areas of the company.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. Knowledge of materials used in PCB fabrication.
2. Experience in PCB fabrication and/or design is desirable.
3. Logical thinking and reasoning skills.
4. Strong technical aptitude and excellent communication skills.
5. Proficient in problem-solving.
6. CAM experience in Engineering is an advantage.
7. Understanding of industry compliance (IPC standards).
8. Knowledge of materials used in PCB fabrication and their environmental impacts.
9. Good presentation skills.
