ChippenhamCommunity Team have a vacancy for a Band2 Administration assistant to work in our busy Community Team office based inChippenham Hospital. This post is for 30 hours per week over 4 days.
Themulti-disciplinary team provides a timely, flexible response to referrals andprovides clinical interventions to people in their homes or residential carehomes. Our team comprises of nurses, therapists, care co-ordinators and supportworkers working alongside other professionals and wider teams.
We are lookingfor an enthusiastic and reliable administrator who is able to work calmly andefficiently in a busy office environment and is able to multi-task. Ouradministrators work together to provide a quality service to our patients andsupport the clinicians within the team. Our core office hours are
Main duties of the job
This role is avaried one and will include general day to day administrative tasks to supportthe smooth running of our service. This includes managing referrals into theteam and responding to enquires from patients, hospitals, and GP practices.Other responsibilities include ordering, stock management, maintaining andupdating files and spreadsheets.
You will needexcellent time management and administrative skills and proficiency inMicrosoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Previous experience of using SystmOneelectronic patient record system would be desirable. For this role you will also need to be an excellent communicator, havestrong IT and interpersonal skills and the ability to work both flexibly underyour own initiative, as well as part of a team.

1. To have worked previously in a medical, health or social care environment
