Weare currently seeking an experienced Bank OrthopaedicScrub Nurse/ODP to join our busyTheatre.
Whereyou’ll bebased
Locatedconveniently on the outskirts of Colchester, the hospital opened onthis site in 1994, with plenty of free parking for patients. All ofour Consultants undergo rigorous vetting procedures, ensuring onlythose who are qualified and experienced are granted practisingprivileges which are reviewed on a regular basis. Our consultantsare supported by a team of highly experienced and friendly nursingstaff who have your care and comfort as their highest priority. Youalso have the reassurance that a Resident Doctor is available 24hours aday.
Essentialexperience and qualifications for thisrole
* Registeredwith the NMC/HCPC
* Surgicalscrub experience within orthopaedics including but not limited tohip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty and anterior cruciateligaments
* Proven ability towork effectively in a team environment as well asindependently
* Flexible andpositive attitude
* A warm,considerate and empatheticcharacter
* Sound written andverbal communicationskills
* Proven ability towork effectively in a team environment and independently asrequired
* Demonstratedcustomer serviceskills
* Demonstrated computerskills
* Ability to planequipment and consumablerequirements
