About the role:
Are you a highly organised individual with admin or customer service experience? If so, we need to hear from you! If you consider yourself to be a self-starter with great motivation and prioritisation skillsets. This role could be what you have been looking for!
The successful Ledger Clerk will be joining a busy, vibrant Accounts Payable team, where routine and organisation is key! The ideal candidate will have previous administration or customer service experience in a high volume busy environment, be great at building professional relationships and have excellent organisation and administration skills.
Role duties:
1. Answering phone queries
2. Inputting bills – rental payments, utility bills, leases.
3. Covering central inboxes
4. Opening post
5. Querying different bills
6. Working collaboratively with other departments
7. Inputting a high volume of supplier invoices with speed and accuracy
8. Investigating and resolving supplier queries
9. General maintenance of the purchase ledger
10. Other ad-hoc finance tasks as required
11. Data entry and statement reconciliation
Role Criteria:
12. Previous administration experience within a fast paced, volume lead position.
13. If you have Accounts or Ledger experience this would be advantageous but not essential
14. A strong administrator with excellent IT and database skills – confident in using Excel
15. You will be tenacious, organised, self-motivated, a confident communicator – able to liaise with internal employees or any suppliers, communicate with a broad range of personalities and business managers
16. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage your own workload
17. Professional, confidential individual that is adaptable to change
18. Flexibility to take on other duties that are not included in this job description to help the wider organisation as this is an ever-evolving team.
