At ProCook, we’re a dynamic, growing retail business with a strong tech backbone. We’re on the hunt for a Tech Support Engineer (Level 2) to keep our systems in peak condition across our head office, warehouse, and stores nationwide. This is an onsite role, so you’ll be hands-on, working with our team and traveling to support new and existing store locations.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Acting as the go-to support for all things tech, from troubleshooting to maintenance
2. Diagnosing and resolving technical issues to keep our business running smoothly
3. Working with bespoke platforms and software, so adaptability is key
4. Installing, configuring, and maintaining IT and telephony systems
5. Keeping everything documented – inventory, audits, knowledge sharing – the lot!
6. Getting involved in exciting projects to ensure our systems evolve with the business
7. Occasionally working early, late, or over the weekend for essential maintenance
8. Traveling nationwide (including Northern Ireland) to support our store network
What You’ll Bring to the Team
1. 2+ years’ experience in IT support (1st and 2nd line)
2. Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive mindset
3. Excellent communication skills – you’ll be supporting colleagues at all levels
4. Hands-on experience with Windows 10+, Windows Server, macOS, Office 365, Active Directory, and MDM solutions
5. A solid understanding of networking, firewalls, VPNs, and system security
6. A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle (with business travel insurance)
Bonus Points for:
Experience with VLANs, Fortinet, PCI DSS compliance, and PDQ deployment
Knowledge of MPLS networks and VPN management
