Are you an experienced finance professional looking to lead and make a positive impact in local government?
Stirling Council is currently seeking a dynamic, experienced Finance Team Leader to join our Finance team.
As the Finance Team Leader for Corporate Accounting, you will help provide managerial, operational, and strategic leadership for the team, develop and deliver key functional areas, and support the Finance Business Partner in providing sound stewardship and effective financial management of the Council’s resources.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Annual accounts
* Asset register and capital
* Treasury management
* VAT
* Financial systems
The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant, with post-qualification experience and continued professional development in these key areas. You will also be able to demonstrate experience of delivering professional financial support services and leading a team of finance staff at a senior level. Experience of Oracle Fusion would be advantageous.
