The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality radiographic services and ensuring the best care for our patients.

Rate: £40.00 - £49.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
As a Band 7 Sonographer specialising in obstetrics, you will be responsible for performing advanced ultrasound examinations and providing comprehensive assessments of fetal development and maternal health. You will collaborate closely with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and communicate findings to patients and their families, ensuring they receive clear explanations and support. Additionally, you will maintain accurate patient records, adhere to quality assurance protocols, and contribute to the training and mentorship of junior staff and sonographers. Upholding the highest standards of clinical practice, you will also engage in continuous professional development and participate in research initiatives to enhance ultrasound services within the department.
Requirements:
* Relevant qualification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent.
* Experience in abdomen and pelvic scans.
* Proficiency in using ultrasound machines and associated software.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* HCPC registration.
* 1 year of UK experience as a sonographer within the NHS and private sector.
