The Ideal Candidate: The successful candidate will have experience working as a Financial Services Administrator or Paraplanner within an IFA practice. Financial services qualifications are preferred but not essential. Key Responsibilities: Writing suitability reports and fund switch letters in line with company procedures. Attending client meetings as required. Asset allocation and model portfolio setup and management. Ensuring compliance by maintaining necessary research and relevant information on file. Monitoring and reporting on monthly investment statistics. Conducting due diligence on providers, products, and new technology. Submitting new business and tracking progress through to completion. Acting as the first point of contact for clients and product providers. Creating professional and accurate correspondence in compliance with company documentation standards. Keeping the firm regularly updated on ongoing work and progress. Producing mailshots and transcribing dictated audio files. Maintaining accurate notes and documentation to ensure a complete audit trail. Coordinating and arranging meetings, including preparing rooms and refreshments. Assisting with meeting preparation and compiling review packs. Managing back-office systems and investment platforms. Ensuring the accuracy of data recorded and managing diary systems to track and chase work appropriately. Arranging new business illustrations. Handling additional administrative tasks as required. Requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. At least 2 years of experience as an IFA Paraplanner. Financial services qualifications (desirable but not essential).
