We are looking for experienced and committed Healthcare Assistants with an interactive approach, who are eager to enhance their skills in the complex care sector.
You will need to be passionate about delivering the highest quality care to our service users, building positive relationships with them and their family whilst empowering them to live as independently as possible within the comfort of their own home.
Our service user is a lady in her late 20s, who lives in Durham with her mum.
She is unable to mobilise independently and requires the support of a care team to meet her complex clinical care needs. We provide specialist 1:1 and 2:1 care throughout the day and night.
She has a passion for horses and loves to interact and socialise with her family, friends and care team.
It is important to create a positive environment for her and support her in pursuing her hobbies, interests and engaging in social activities.

Please note, our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
Main duties of the job
During the day you will provide support with her personal care, moving and handling, and attend to her clinical needs. You will provide companionship to ensure her well-being comfort and joy.
During the night, you will assist with personal care, repositioning, clinical observations, and attending to any medical requirements to ensure a peaceful night's rest.
Shifts Available
We are currently offering a mixture of shifts consisting of the below
1. Part Time Days and Sleeps
2. 1 Day per week- 6:30am-7:00pm
3. Pop in calls, Mornings, Afternoons and Evenings
4. Sleep in Shifts 7:00pm - 7:00am
Take a look at our pay rates
Weekdays: £ per hour (£156 approx. per 12-hour shift)
Weeknights: £ per hour (£162 approx. per 12-hour shift)
Weekends: £ per hour (£ approx. per 12-hour shift)
Bank Holiday: £ per hour (£ approx. per 12- hour shift)

Job responsibilities
The role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is to work without direct supervision in the home of the service user providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the service users individual care and support plan.
The aim of the position is to enable service users to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.
Alongside providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, always ensuring the service users right to privacy and dignity is maintained
