HR Advisor - You'll work closely with managers and staff, providing expert guidance on recruitment, employment policies, and other HR-related matters, ensuring processes are streamlined and conducted consistently across the organisation.
Job Description
HR Advisor- Key Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues across the organisation, providing clear advice and support on HR issues and best practices.
* Take ownership of operational HR tasks, including recruitment, contract management, performance reviews, and absence management.
* Guide managers through the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring vacancies are filled efficiently and in line with organisational policies.
* Maintain and update the People Management Information System, producing regular reports for management as well as ad hoc requests.
* Provide support in handling employee relations cases, including disciplinary actions and grievances, ensuring procedures are followed appropriately.
* Work closely with payroll teams to manage employee pay and pension matters.
* Assist in the review and development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.
* Ensure all necessary pre-employment checks, including DBS clearances, are carried out and appropriately recorded.
* Manage and maintain accurate employee records, contributing to safeguarding and compliance efforts.
* Assist in projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR operations and supporting organisational objectives.

HR Advisor - Key Skills and Attributes:
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Good understanding of HR processes, employment law
* Proven ability to manage and support recruitment processes
* Experience handling employee relations cases
* Experience with iTrent
* High level of attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
* Flexible and adaptable approach to work
