In this exciting role, you will play a pivotal part in crafting Sony Electronics’ pan-European social media strategy across our Consumer business, including Home Entertainment, Personal Entertainment, Imaging Products and Solutions, and Mobile. As a co-lead for Sony Europe’s owned social media channels, you will ensure a seamless execution of product, corporate, and brand communications. If you’re ready to reach and encourage a wide range of audiences, we want to hear from you You will: · Co-develop a strategic pan-European owned social media communications plan for all consumer business groups, the Sony brand and corporate issues (sustainability, accessibility, diversity and inclusion) to deliver sustained, targeted momentum in Europe · Deliver impactful and effective product launches via content-led creative campaigns that support the brand messaging and business strategy in Europe · Ensure a coordinated approach across all activity, amplifying brand messages and crafting one consistent brand voice to the market · Drive outstanding owned social media initiatives and cultivate innovative ways of working across all markets to ensure activities are delivering maximum impact and efficiencies · Support Social Platform and Operations (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X, and future platforms). · Handle the Sony Europe TikTok channel including development and posting of content in line with business direction · Deliver insights about performance of social content, specifically TikTok, back into the business to enable data-based decisions · Be one of the key contacts for all social media issues for the in-country social Points of Contact · Co-own strategy planning and implementation for social platforms and new channel development · Perform analytics and integrate social reporting into broader marketing reports using third-party and in-house tools (social management platform, Salesforce/Datorama) ensuring all activities are measurable and results driven You will bring: · Graduate level or equivalent experience · Proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills (additional European languages an advantage) · Experience in planning, developing and driving multi-market cross-channel coordinated social media campaigns across Europe · Familiarity handling digital/data projects in the area of social networks or broader communication · Consistent record in development and delivery of results-driven communication strategy and tactics, with a passion for innovation across owned media · Experience in leading pan-European social influencer campaigns and activity to drive product/brand awareness and engagement · Ability to understand the unpredictability of the job and the flexibility required to prioritise and adapt to changing business needs · Ability to work within a diverse multi-national organisation · Exceptional organisational skills · Excellent understanding of the social media landscape and passion for growing your social media savviness · A truly collaborative, culturally aware, and respectful team player attitude LI-YA1 Your new office Weybridge Based at the Weybridge office, you will enjoy a vibrant and friendly working environment.
