Job Title: Teaching Assistant (SEN- ASC/ADHD)
Location: Sunderland Area
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
Job Description: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting children with autism and physical disabilities. Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Assisting in the educational and social development of students.
2. Providing one-on-one support to children with special educational needs.
3. Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to create a positive learning environment.
4. Implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting teaching materials to meet the needs of each student.
5. Supporting students in developing social skills and managing their behavior.
6. Helping with personal care tasks as needed.
7. Utilizing our school's hydropool to support the physical and sensory needs of disabled children.

Experience:
1. Previous experience working with children with autism and ADHD is essential. This can include personal experience.

Qualifications:
1. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
2. Nursery Nurse qualification is also preferred.
