What You'll Do: Fundraising Leadership – Develop and implement a multi-channel fundraising strategy, ensuring a strong, sustainable pipeline of income from trusts, grants, corporate partnerships, major donors, and legacies. Team Development – Lead, inspire, and mentor a high-performing fundraising team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. Community & Corporate Engagement – Grow and maintain key relationships with businesses, major donors, and philanthropic supporters, securing long-term financial commitments. Strategic Oversight & Compliance – Set and achieve ambitious income targets, monitor budgets, and ensure compliance with fundraising regulations, GDPR, and ethical best practices. Marketing & Donor Communications – Work closely with the Marketing Team to create engaging campaigns, donor stewardship plans, and fundraising materials. Innovation & Digital Fundraising – Drive digital transformation in fundraising, leveraging CRM systems, data analytics, and online campaigns. Board & Financial Reporting – Provide regular strategic updates and financial reports to Trustees and Senior Leadership. What we’re looking for: To excel in this role, you will have: Proven experience in leading fundraising teams and securing income across multiple streams (trusts, grants, corporate, major donors, legacies). Strong leadership, budget management, and strategic planning experience. A track record in building and managing partnerships that drive sustainable income growth. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders. A data-driven approach to fundraising, with a solid understanding of CRM systems and fundraising compliance. Experience in digital fundraising, legacy giving, and community engagement (desirable).
