Responsibilities
:
Advise on compulsory purchase matters, including notices, blight, tribunal claims, and compensation issues.
Manage litigation and alternative dispute resolution related to compulsory purchase.
Support the Land & Property Approvals Panel with statutory and non-statutory compensation schemes.
Handle a diverse caseload of property/compulsory purchase matters, drafting and negotiating bespoke agreements.
Liaise with external parties such as lawyers and government departments.
Provide training and maintain standard form template documentation.
Qualifications:
Qualified solicitor with post-qualification experience in compulsory purchase and property/planning law.
Experience working on construction or infrastructure projects.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, multidisciplinary environment.
