Are you ready to play a key role in managing the commercial and operational aspects of one of the UK’s major airports? Luton Rising is looking for an Aviation Contract Manager to oversee the 1998 Concession Agreement that powers London Luton Airport.
In this vital position, you’ll be the primary point of contact for all queries related to the airport’s commercial and lease agreements, liaising closely with both internal colleagues and London Luton Airport Operations Ltd. You’ll ensure all parties are meeting their contractual obligations, support the Head of Aviation on key issues, and manage compliance outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the main contact for all matters related to airport commercial arrangements and the Concession Agreement
* Oversee compliance processes, ensuring both the airport operator and Luton Rising meet all obligations
* Manage and organize essential contract and procurement processes for the organization
* Act as the document controller for legal agreements, ensuring effective and accurate documentation
About you
We’re looking for someone with strong organizational skills, contract management experience, and a keen understanding of the aviation industry. The ideal candidate is highly experienced in managing high-value operational contracts, particularly where contractor success is critical. They have a proven track record in resolving construction contract disputes, supply chain management, and collaborating effectively with diverse partners and stakeholders. Skilled in influencing and building relationships across all organisational levels, they bring visible, visionary leadership to motivate top performance. They demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, as well as effective negotiation skills. Additionally, the candidate has expertise in commissioning and procurement, budget and financial management, and applies sound commercial principles to maximise value. A relevant qualification in business, procurement, or commercial management, or equivalent experience, is essential.
