We are recruiting for a Sales Account Manager to join our client in Southampton. This is a permanent position offering a salary up to £50,000 DOE.
Your main responsibility will be to identify, develop, and successfully close sale opportunities.
You will own the sales life-cycle, maintaining and building existing customer relationships across the business.
You will coordinate sales operations and implement sales techniques that allow the business to meet and surpass its sales targets consistently.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Managing key accounts
2. Leading the sales of the business to ensure that targets are achieved and realistically derived for expected turnaround times
3. Negotiate any contracts and price increases to ensure that business growth and margin targets are met
4. Processing sales orders
5. Prepare quotes and estimates for new and existing customers
6. Provide accurate forecasting of financial performance of key accounts
7. Provide customer and market insight into the business
8. Build and maintain excellent business relationships with new and existing customers, suppliers, and industry representatives
9. Provide regular reports to the managing director

3. Be output-oriented
4. Have experience in working with aerospace, engineering, and manufacturing customers
5. Experience in a technical manufacturing environment
6. Excellent communication skills
7. Have the ability to develop strong relationships within the business and externally
8. Have the capacity to overcome barriers
