What you’llbe doing:
* Develop and managerequirements and acceptance criteria specific to a system orproduct and/or across a system of systems, platform orprogramme
Understand the contractual and performance requirementsfor various systems, and support the definition and associatedacceptance criteria and events through design, build, integration,installation and commissioningactivities Produce documentation required to support the designreview process, including: diagrams; technical specifications;supporting calculations; design evidence andjustifications
* Review relevant supplier documentation and ensure it iscaptured and recordedappropriately
Support the development of estimates for the scope ofwork and resources required to deliver it to support bids, proposaldevelopment and project planning activities for varioussystems

* Develop new processes fromlegacy processes, implementing best practice and Learning fromExperience from keystakeholders
Provide technical oversight for functional design forC&I solution for complex propulsion, mechanical and electricalsystems, including deriving the functional design from Piping &Instrumentation diagrams Support the C&I embed team in the technicalspecification of instrumentation forpressure/temperature/flow/level/analysis that is fit for purposefor specific process conditions Review the C&I design that satisfies a wide range ofrequirements such as functional, safety, defence standards, Britishstandards, naval standards, nuclearstandards
Desirable
* Understanding of controlsystem architecture and communication protocols (i.e. RS-485,PROFIBUS)
History in IEC 61508 – Functional Safety (or similar)and production of supporting evidence to substantiate safetyclaims
