Purchase Ledger required in Grays, Essex. Our client is an establish franchise car dealership selling both new and used vehicles to their customer along with providing a supportive aftersales department. The are actively looking for an automotive experienced Purchase Ledger to work within their busy accounts department. Duties will include: Process invoices for customer orders against manufacturer product list. Maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger. Daily and Monthly Bank Reconciliations. Processing BACS payments and preparing cheques. Paying out money for cash/cheque payments, some BACS payments too. Ensuring all paperwork is filed correctly and general accounts duties. Details & Benefits of this Purchase Ledger vacancy include: Hours - 37 per week - Monday to Friday 9.00am-5.00pm No Weekends Days worked. Salary - up to £27,000 basic p.a. (depending on qualifications, skill level and experience). Holiday Allowance - 22 days bank holidays. Company Pension Scheme - Yes. Location - Grays, Essex. Company – Franchise Main Car Dealer. Contract - Full Time, Permanent. Because of the nature of the role, they are looking for someone who has experience as a Purchase Ledger working within a Main Car Dealer accounts department. You must be computer literate with a friendly and flexible “Can Do” attitude. An AAT qualification is desirable but not essential.
