To achieve growth plans, the business is recruiting a:- SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER Day to day responsibilities for this key role based in a busy Warehouse will include co-ordinating, communicating and controlling all our supply chain administration functions to ensure product delivery is as per customer demand and service levels meet customer expectations. Key Responsibilities: - Administer orders (e.g. via Atlas, Sage & Front Office) Deal with all internal and external customer queries. Book hauliers, couriers, and coordinate deliveries Preparing despatch notes and labels for team leaders Update demand forecasting tool to accumulate stock requirements Support Production Planning functions by ensuring accuracy of inputted production/data figures Monitor and update all waste figures, stock level, and MLOR reports daily Request of Transfer stock to various sites Communicate all changes to forecast and deliver schedules and to production and sales management Notifying customers of any damaged, missing, or faulty goods Providing progress reports including data analysis, shorts, ETAs and KPIs to management as required Following standard operating procedures, housekeeping, health, and safety guidelines Essential criteria: Previous Supply Chain / Production Planner experience preferably in the food industry or manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of production planning and inventory management. Excellent organisational and time-management skills. Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work in a busy warehouse to meet daily deadlines.
