Job Title: Histopathology Consultant Location: Swindon, Wiltshire Working Hours: Full-time or Part-time Salary: £99,532 - £131,964 per annum Pulse Doctor is actively recruiting an experienced and committed Histopathologist to join a leading healthcare provider in Swindon, Wiltshire. The Consultant Histopathologist will join a dynamic team at a well-established hospital, providing expert diagnostic services in histopathology. Key Responsibilities: As a Consultant Histopathologist, you will examine and interpret tissue samples to diagnose diseases, prepare detailed pathology reports, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing expert advice to clinical colleagues. In addition to your clinical duties, you will train and supervise junior medical staff and participate in departmental teaching sessions. You will engage in research activities to advance the understanding and treatment of diseases and contribute to the development of the department. Requirements: • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification. • Full Registration and a licence to practise with the General Medical Council. • MRCP Part 1 and Part 2. • Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required for gaining UK CCT in Haematology. • Meets the criteria set out in the Specialist generic capabilities framework. • Entry on GMC Specialist Register; eligible for entry on Register or within six months of receipt of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR) at the time of interview.
