Role Overview In this role, you will oversee a caseload of learners, providing high-quality training, coaching, and mentorship to ensure they successfully complete their apprenticeships. Acting as the key point of contact for both students and employers, you will help apprentices gain the essential knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed for a successful career in civil engineering. Key Responsibilities Conduct regular learner progress reviews and provide clear, constructive feedback. Guide and support learners in building their portfolios and preparing for end-point assessments (EPA). Collaborate with employers to ensure apprentices receive relevant, hands-on training. Track and document learner progress, ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards. Deliver training sessions focused on both technical and broader life skills development. Uphold the college’s core values and maintain compliance with awarding body standards. Required Qualifications & Experience ✔ A Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Civil Engineering or a related field. ✔ A Level 3 TAQA (or equivalent) or a willingness to work towards obtaining it. ✔ Level 3 Internal Quality Assurance qualification (desirable). ✔ Industry experience in Civil Engineering. ✔ Excellent organisational and communication skills. ✔ A passion for mentoring and supporting learners. ✔ Knowledge of apprenticeship standards and end-point assessments.
