Aylestone School is an oversubscribed co-educational 11-16 school, located in the picturesque Cathedral City of Hereford, adjacent to the Herefordshire Colleges' campus for Further Education, and 10 minutes’ walk from the City railway station. The school is a popular choice with parents in Herefordshire as it is a small school (450 students) but is still able to offer the breadth, choice and opportunities that larger schools do.

Thank you for taking an interest in our school. Aylestone School is federated with two primary schools with one Executive Headteacher. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, dynamic, creative teacher to join our school as a teacher of French. We are looking for an inspiring teacher with a real passion for their subject, with the ability to teach French across KS3- 4, including at GCSE level. Aylestone school iscommitted to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced check and further pre-employment checks will be conducted in accordance with KCSIE. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the school is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children
