Expanding into global markets, the business is going through a period of rapid growth and expansion and has won numerous awards for its video and imaging solutions including Microsoft Innovation of the Year Award and Retail Week Digital Excellence Award. We are looking for a Installation Technician based in the Midlands to install, take delivery of and to carry out repairs of Imaging Studios at various customer locations throughout the UK. This role requires the candidate to have experience in assembly and/or metal repair with excellent communication skills and an ability to multitask and prioritise. The ideal candidate will be able to work on their own initiative whilst also working as part of a team and have a creative aptitude to problem solving. Key Responsibilities Co-ordinate with internal resources and third parties/vendors to maintain stores To manage stores so that they are logically laid out and stock is available for upcoming installs To follow Health and Safety guidelines and risk management plans Proficient use of power tools including combi drills, impact drivers & angle grinder Work independently in line with project plans/deadlines, track progress, feedback to relevant Project Manager and to report/escalate issues to management and customers as and when required To carry out all necessary preparation for installs at Rockingham Identify proactive recommendations to improve the experience for customers focussing on speed and quality of build Key Skills Attention to detail with an ability to perform precise work ensuring all components meet exact specifications and high presentation standards Experience working at height Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues, management and external partners Solid organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise Full UK driving license IPAF 3a & 3b desirable, training/refreshment courses to be provided as required Counterbalance forklift certification desirable, training/refreshment courses to be provided as required Flexibility with a willingness to travel/overnight stays and adapt to varying work schedules especially during events or to adhere to project deadlines We are proud to be Level 1 Disability Confident and committed to ensuring our recruitment process is inclusive and accessible.
