Generic Assistant Practitioner - Hamilton locality
The Role
As a Generic Assistant Practitioner, you will act as a member of the care team under the supervision of a registered NMAHP Practitioner. You will assist patients to achieve their care and rehabilitation goals. Providing support and evidence-based care is essential to the role and will be achieved by assisting the planning, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of care.
You will undertake baseline assessments within clearly defined parameters for the identified area of care delivery and use specialist technical and practical skills to deliver flexible, person-centred, safe, and effective care.
Duties may vary depending on the team/department or assigned area of work.
What we'll need you to bring:
* Formal qualification at HNC Level or equivalent level of experience in a health/education/social care environment plus short specialist courses relevant to the specific clinical area.
* Awareness of health legislation relevant to the clinical area.
* Knowledge of the clinical speciality/area process, techniques, and/or activities relevant to the client group.
* Ability to apply a range of technical and practical skills.
* Effective listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Time management, planning, and organisational skills.
* Working knowledge of basic information technology.
* Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
* Ability to learn and develop new skills and maintain a record of learning.
* Full valid driving license.

Contract type: Permanent
Full time: 37 hours
Location and Working Pattern: This role will be based within the Hamilton Locality. The working pattern for this role is: working over 7 days including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
