Maintenance Electrician (Test & Inspection Qualified)
Salary - £52k including enhancements
Hours – 40 hr per week (Including Regular Evening and weekend works)
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Electrician with test and inspection qualifications to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, repairs, and inspections across our facilities or client sites, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards. This position includes out-of-hours and weekend working on a rota basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive electrical repairs on a wide range of systems and equipment.
Carry out electrical testing and inspection in line with regulations (e.g., EICRs).
Diagnose faults and provide efficient and effective solutions.
Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment to the required standards.
Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, including risk assessments and safe working practices.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, including test certificates and maintenance logs.
Participate in an on-call rota for out-of-hours and weekend support.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure minimal disruption and high-quality service delivery.
Skills and Experience Required:
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
• City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395 or equivalent Test and Inspection qualification (essential).
• Proven experience in electrical maintenance and fault-finding within commercial or industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and drawings.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Full UK driving licence.

Desirable
• Experience with building management systems (BMS).
• Additional qualifications such as PAT testing or IPAF.
