This role is to provide materials support for our Well Services team based in our Blackburn office in Aberdeen. This is a junior role to learn the procurement side of our business and be part of our global growth as well as completing a Modern Apprenticeship. The Materials Buyer is responsible to assist with a variety of tasks supporting the procurement processes. \nâ¢\tBuying Process\nâ¢\tWarehouse Process\nâ¢\tRelevant procedures & guidelines\nâ¢\tProcessing of non-conformances and deviations/concessions\nâ¢\tContinuous Improvement of Buying & Warehouse\n Although this would be ideal for a school or college leaver we are looking for some work experience for this vacancy with additional skills advantageous (not essential):\nâ¢\tExcellent user in Microsoft Office â Word, Excel, Project with experience of data manipulation and reporting.\nâ¢\tOil & Gas industry work experience \nâ¢\tExperience with ERP systems and proficiency in utilising them effectively\nâ¢\tSome knowledge procedures and other technical documentation\nâ¢\tBasic purchasing skills\nâ¢\tExperience of warehouse working\n\nThe Personal skills required for this role include:\nâ¢\tSelf-motivated\nâ¢\tPunctual \nâ¢\tGood communication skills \nâ¢\tAbility to thrive in fast-paced environments\nâ¢\tAbility to work as part of a team
