The Import Assistant for Leica Biosystems is responsible for the processing, monitoring & record keeping of Inbound shipments in accordance with all relevant policies & procedures This position is part of the Global supply Chain Team located in Newcastle, UK and will be a fully on-site based role at Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives. You will be a part of the Import and Export Team and report to the Senior Distribution Manager responsible for - Preparation of KPI's relating to Customs House Brokers and analysis of Import analysis for customs house brokers accuracy - Develop, Monitor & Improve Import processes and daily monitoring and escalation on critical Imports - Preparation of Import compliance information for Monthly review - Attend Quarterly business reviews with Custom House Brokers - Managing of Import documentation to a compliant standard - Providing Import Clearance instructions to freight forwarder and couriers as required If you thrive in a Multifunctional and fast paced working environment role and want to work to build a world-class Supply Chain organization-read on.
