Our customers demand a high-performance supplier and to continue to meet this demand we are now looking for a Regional Sales Manager to lead our Branch Network in the South of the UK and Ireland. This role is critical in implementing our strategies to improve customer service, enhance operational efficiency and develop high-performing teams. Ideally you will be proactive leader who can drive results in a fast-paced B2B sales environment. JOB DUTIES: Customer Service Strategies: Create and execute strategic initiatives aimed at delivering exceptional customer service in our branches. Collaboration with Operations: Work alongside the Branch Sales Operations Manager to establish effective branch operating processes for branch needs, covering areas such as pricing, stock fulfilment, and repairs etc. Sales Mechanism Development: Partner with the National Sales Manager to develop a synchronised sales approach between Branch and Field operations. Policy Adherence & Updating: Ensure all teams strictly adhere to company policies and regularly update branch policies to remain in line with best practices. Team Development: Promote personal and professional growth within branch teams, establishing a clear path for succession within our branches. Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and integrate top talent for branch teams. Sales Tools Utilisation: Ensure consistent usage of sales aid tools to maximise direct customer sales and enhance customer engagement in branches. On-Site Leadership: Spend at least 90% of your time physically present in branches, leading operations and engaging directly with teams. Branch Assessments: Assess branch locations regularly and propose improvements to enhance performance and customer satisfaction. Vendor Partnerships: Work collaboratively with vendor partners on joint initiatives to drive sales in the region. YOU MUST HAVE: Demonstrated experience in a multi-site sales leadership role, preferably within the electronics distribution sector. Experience in B2B sales environment, that is fast paced with a high number of SKUs or short sales cycle Strong customer service orientation, with a focus on strategic thinking and results. Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships. Proven ability in team leadership and development. Experience with sales tools and technology to track and enhance customer engagement. UK driving licence WE VALUE: Understanding of sales processes, data analytics and performance metrics.
