Finance Manager with line management responsibilities for one member of staff and reporting to the CFO
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be someone who has a real hands-on approach to finance and is not afraid to get involved from the ground up. This role is a real opportunity for someone to learn and develop their skills within the education sector working with highly tenured and experienced team members with proven success.
Candidates should have relevant accounting qualifications or experience in-line with the responsibilities and duties of this role.
Candidates do not necessarily have to have previous education sector experience, but if moving from a commercial background then candidates will need to justify the drive and motivation behind wanting to make the move.
General duties will include:
* Preparation of Monthly Accounts
* Financial Reporting to CFO, SLT & Trustees
* Budget Analysis
* Overview of Financial Systems & Payroll
* Policy & Procedures Review
What you'll get in return
In return for undertaking this role, the client is looking to pay a starting salary of up to £46,000pa along with an initial 26 days annual leave and an attractive pension scheme.
Dedicated training, mentoring and support should you be actively studying for Accounting qualifications.
