About the role:
Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teacher ready to make a difference in the lives of young learners? Our vibrant school in Finchley is searching for an outstanding educator to join our nurturing team from January 2025. As our EYFS Teacher, you will lead a class of eager learners, guiding them through their foundational years with creativity, patience, and passion. You will deliver an engaging curriculum that meets individual learning needs while igniting a lifelong love of discovery.
Application Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in Early Years teaching.
• A thorough understanding of the EYFS curriculum and its implementation.
• Excellent communication skills and a nurturing approach to teaching.
• A proactive and adaptable mindset, with a passion for early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement creative and stimulating lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum to encourage active learning and development in all areas.
• Regularly observe, assess, and record children’s progress, ensuring every child receives the support they need to achieve developmental milestones.
• Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and safe classroom where children feel valued, respected, and excited to learn.
• Work closely with teaching assistants, EYFS colleagues, and parents to create a cohesive support network for each child’s educational and emotional growth.
• Encourage children’s physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development through a balanced mix of play, structured activities, and exploration.
