Role Overview
As a Charity Department Coordinator Volunteer in our Bourton-on-the-Water Sue Ryder charity shop, you will be one of the store’s friendly faces who will help us to provide the best customer experience whilst playing an important role in raising funds for our charity work. We have various department roles within our Bourton-on-the-Water shop where we require volunteers to sort and display items such as accessories, books, media, and homewares.
Responsibilities
• Meet donors, receive donations, and sign donors up to Gift Aid
• Sort, label, and price stock
• Greet and assist customers
• Serve customers on the till (training provided)
• Maintain shop displays and re-stock
• Perform light cleaning/tidying duties to keep the shop inviting and well-presented
