Site Agent for External Works & Hard Landscaping packages
As a result of recent project wins, my client is currently recruiting for a Site Agent to be based on schemes in the Cambridge area. Schemes range in value from £3 million up to £20 million.
Purpose of Role:
As Site Agent for these schemes, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of externals and hard landscaping packages for a busy contractor. This is an up-and-coming company that provides excellent learning and development and a great chance for progression if you want it.
This role requires strong interpersonal skills as you will be liaising with all levels of staff and operatives working on the project – Delivery, Commercial, Planning, and Head Office support staff. Externally, you will interact with multiple parts of the client organization, sub-contractors, representatives of local residents, interest groups, and design consultants.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the delivery of the project within the given constraints of time and cost through the team.
2. Ensure that all health, safety, and welfare obligations associated with the project delivery are met.
3. Identify the necessary resources and assign individual responsibilities.
4. Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
5. Maintain and manage relations with the client and all stakeholders in the project to an appropriate level.
6. Minimize company exposure to risk on the project.
Preferential Experience:
* Previous experience working on external and hard landscaping packages up to a value of £10 million.
