What will I be doing? We'll be looking for you to provide planned and reactive maintenance for all areas of the plant based at or Altens East facility: Ensuring plant installations and modifications meet the latest standards and regulatory requirements. Support colleagues across different functions to seek opportunities for continuous improvements, driving change to reduce maintenance costs and improve overall efficiency. The work ours are Monday - Friday. What are the requirements? You will have a predominantly Mechanical background with basic electrical knowledge: Ideally Completion of a relevant engineering apprenticeship. Qualified to City and Guilds level or NVQ level 3 Experience of working with and maintaining fixed and mobile plant. Health and Safety qualification(s), such as IOSH Managing Safely Experience of working with 'Lean' manufacturing techniques. Having hands on knowledge of equipment including conveyors, motors, gearboxes and hydraulics.
