1. Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction to clients
2. Assist with everyday tasks such as meal preparation and light housework
3. Accompany clients to appointments, social events, or shopping trips
4. Support clients with personal care activities, including bathing, showering, dressing, and grooming
5. Help administer medication as directed
6. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
7. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the care team
8. Document and report on client's condition and care provided
9. Adapt to changing client needs and schedules
10. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Qualifications
11. Compassionate and kind-hearted nature with a genuine desire to make a difference in people's lives
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
13. Strong organizational abilities and reliability
14. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and alternate weekends
15. Exceptional time management skills and punctuality
16. Physical stamina to assist clients with daily activities
17. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
18. Basic understanding of health and safety practices in a care setting
19. Willingness to travel within the assigned area to reach clients
20. Valid driving license and access to a vehicle (other transportation methods may be considered based on client needs and location)
21. No prior experience required – comprehensive training will be provided
Additional Information
You will receive
22. Hourly rate from £13.15
23. Paid mileage
24. Paid travel time and waiting time between clients visits at regular hourly rate
