We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and food service, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills while ensuring a welcoming environment for both staff and guests. Managing the front-of-house team to deliver outstanding customer service and the ability to hold your cool while all around you people are losing theirs.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and lead the front-of-house team, ensuring all staff provide excellent service to guests.
* Oversee daily restaurant operations, including managing reservations, seating arrangements, and guest inquiries.
* Oversee bar operations.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow between the front and back of house.
* Train and mentor new employees on hospitality standards, and customer service excellence.
* Handle guest complaints and feedback promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
* Monitor inventory levels of supplies and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment.
* Eventually create and manage the rota.
Experience
* Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the restaurant and/or cocktail bar.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
