The Job
Quality Assurance Program:
* Manage laboratory and plant analysis to ensure reliable product quality
* Implement analytical methods and validation programs for consistent results
* Maintain compliance with the Site Quality and Food Safety Program
* Collaborate with Commercial and Planning teams for product trials and legal compliance
* Oversee budget management for laboratory requirements and capital projects
* Ensure data storage and traceability of QA records
Quality Improvement Program:
* Lead quality improvement projects using science-based problem-solving
* Support product development and innovation projects
* Ensure regulatory compliance during commissioning of new products and processes
* Facilitate training for quality control activities
* Resolve customer complaints and non-conformances effectively
People and Team Development:
* Inspire and develop the Quality team through structured leadership and performance management
* Ensure all team members have clear objectives and development plans
* Maintain compliance with HR policies and manage departmental labour against budget
What You’ll Need
Qualifications:
* Degree in a science-related field or qualified by experience
* Lead auditor (GFSI) and HACCP Level 3 certification
* 3+ years in Quality and Food Safety Systems Management
* Expert knowledge of GFSI standards and food safety legislation (e.g FDA, EFSA, ISO)
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Proficient in MS Office and excellent communication skills
* Passionate about quality and customer-focused
* Self-motivated with strong leadership capabilities
* Detail-oriented with exceptional organisational and multitasking skills
