Surveyor\n\nPart Time Management Surveyor - East London - Leading Brand - Flexible/Hybrid working \n\nAre you a qulified Surveyor seeking a step back to part time flexible work?\n\nAre you looking to work with a leading brand property and surveying business with extensive benefits?\n\nOur leading Estates Management and Chartered surveying business are seeking a new Surveyor to work across there London operations overseeing a small porfolio of established commercial clients. Working as part of a highly successful team, you will be accountable for delivery of property management services, client care and liaison for a small mixed portfolio of residential and commercial buildings on behalf of private and corporate clients, in accordance with the RICS code of practice. \n\nHybrid/Flexible working \nStructured business with extensive benefits \n£neg £60k + bonus structure + company benefits Duties will include: \n\nCarry out of measurement surveys to determine floor areas in compliance with IPMS or local market practices.\nThe ability to read and interpret commercial and residential leases and advise clients.\nObtaining suitable market comparable data and negotiating settlements for rent reviews and lease renewals.\nPreparation of written or oral evidence for referrals to independent experts or arbitrators as required.\nInstructing and managing external letting agents and professional advisers to achieve open market lettings of commercial premises.\nInstructing and managing external professional advisers in relation to lease renewals.\nProof checking rent demands and assisting credit control team chasing arrears.\nCarrying out measured surveys of buildings and interpretation of plans.\nPreparation and administration of Service Charge budgets in compliance with RICS Practice Statements\nUndertaking periodic reviews of Service Charge Budgets\nCarry out Market Valuation work independently\nPreparation of Valuation Reports for in connection with new lettings or disposals.\nKnowledge and understanding of rating assessments and appeals process and the ability to conduct these.\nEPC reports.\nWorking with stakeholders to implement improvement works\nCarry out periodic visits of properties in accordance with Management Agreement terms \nPeriodic visits to inspect common parts of multi let buildings to ensure compliance with H & S risk assessments.\nCarry out preventative maintenance inspections.\nDealing with building occupiers in relation to maintenance and repair issues\nObtaining Competitive Quotations for repairs and maintenance works.\nProcessing and approval of supplier and contractor invoices.\nMonitoring Contractor Performance.Experience required \n\nAssocRICS or MRICS \nStrong teamwork mentality\nAbility to lead and manage projects \nAttention to detail and bigger picture mentality \nLondon or surrounding based / happy to travel when needed (expenses paid) \nExcellent communications skills in person or written \nGood understanding of tenant and landlord legislation and regs For further details on this position, please apply today \n\nRandstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
